Working with both the Walmart and Sam’s Teams as well as the direct customer to monitor and influence weekly forecast and report variances. In Addition this individual will be responsible for adjusting on hands inventories to reduce out of stocks by working with the customer to adjust the systems inventory settings. The Replenishment Analyst will also be working with the Retail Team to identify stores/clubs where product is below Inventory levels or has not been selling.

• Time breakdown of this position
  • 80% Walmart/Sam’s Replenishment
  • 10% Walmart/Sam’s International Reporting
  • 10% Sales Analytics

Walmart/Sam’s Club:

•  Monitor weekly sales vs. forecast and report variances
• Adjust on hand/inventory levels to reduce out of stocks. Work with WM/Sam’s Replenishment Managers to adjust system settings as needed to maximize sales
• Help identify stores that need more days of supply on front end at WM and work to have settings adjusted
• Help adjust replenishment settings during peak seasonal periods (Christmas, Easter, etc.)
• Instock improvement of 1% = $6MM Opportunity/2% = $12MM/3% = $18MM
• New item execution – Speed to shelf and pipeline execution.  Item set up/correct quantities shipped/adjust WM-Sam’s systems quickly in stores that are out of stock - $1-2MM Opportunity
• Become the expert in our business and a resource for the WM/Sam’s replenishment team so we have more control over orders/inventory levels (PDQ Execution – correct quantities in the right stores)
• Meet with WM/Sam’s replenishment teams monthly to help drive direction of our inventory levels and to work on strategies for future events/promos.

 Wrigley Field Sales:

• Generate Reports for our field sales teams to quickly identify stores/clubs where Product is not at appropriate inventory levels
• Identify opportunities where promotions are not being executed properly (PDQ’s
• Showing on hand but not selling may not be on the floor)

 McLane Support:

• Help manage the entire supply chain by bringing in McLane data to insure proper levels in the pipeline.
• Work closely with internal teams (customer support, supply chain, etc) to review current or upcoming opportunities.

This position requires five years major account experience. In addition this candidate should be proficient in Retail Link, IRI, McLane Mpulse data and all Microsoft software. This Candidate must demonstrate strong communications skills, high sense of urgency and the ability to provide solutions and recommendations to the customer & the internal Walmart / Sam’s Team’s.  

A Bachelor's Degree is required.
